Electrical Designer (m/f/d) Automation Technology

As an electrical designer (m/f/d) for automation technology, you work on construction and/or development projects for automated systems from the very beginning. You create and check electrical circuit diagrams, wiring schematics, allocation lists, parts lists and cable labels. You are also responsible for preparing thermal calculations for control cabinets and testing machine safety.

Challenges in overview:
- Creation of electrical circuit diagrams and wiring schematics with EPLAN for the assembly of systems as well as the creation of parts lists and cable labels
- Creating the allocation list as basic for PLC programming
- Placing components using EPLAN Data Portal, as well as creating, changing and managing parts
- Reading mechanical layouts and pneumatic plans and transferring them to the electrical design using EPLAN
- Interface function to manufacturing and production, as well as internal departments
- Build circuit diagrams by means of reusable partial circuits (macros)
- Logical and functional verification of circuit diagram documentation
- Checking machine safety
- Creation of thermal calculations for control cabinets
- Preparing multilingual projects

Your profile:
- Completed training in the field of electrical engineering or further training as a technician (m/f/d) in electrical engineering/automation technology
- Several years of professional experience in electrical design, especially in the area of powertrain and assembly systems
- Sound knowledge of EPLAN P8 and initial experience with CAD
- Good understanding of electrical circuit documentation, as well as knowledge of automotive standards
- Business fluent German and basic English skills
- Structured approach, conscientiousness, willingness to take responsibility
