TEL Forza at Motek: Short-Wave Infrared Heat for Production and Assembly

At Motek, the international trade fair for production and assembly automation, TEL GmbH (Temperatur Experten Leichlingen) is presenting its TEL Forza series for professional industrial use, along with a newly introduced mobile model that requires no fixed installation.

TEL Forza covers a power range from 1.5 to 12 kW and is designed for the requirements of production and assembly halls, from individual workstations to large-scale manufacturing areas with high ceiling mounting and frequently opened doors. The short-wave infrared technology heats people, work surfaces, and machinery directly, rather than heating the entire volume of air, similar to sunlight in winter and without any UV component. This makes it particularly efficient in large, open hall structures, where conventional warm-air heating loses significant energy through draughts and door traffic.

Newly presented at Motek is a mobile version of the TEL Forza series that requires no fixed mounting. The unit is mounted on a wheeled stand and can be moved flexibly to wherever heat is needed, for example at changing assembly workstations, temporary test stations, or seasonally used hall areas. It is ready for immediate use without any electrical installation work, making it especially suitable for facilities with frequently changing layouts or short-term heating needs at individual workstations.

Both versions offer the well-known advantages of short-wave infrared heating: no warm-up time, operational readiness within seconds, and, combined with renewable energy sources, the potential for a more climate-friendly operation.
