Sustainability, for us, begins where digitalization and resource efficiency meet: in safeguarding and using knowledge within manufacturing companies. With our connected worker platform "instructor," we create a central knowledge portal in which the expertise of specialists is systematically captured, maintained, and made digitally available at every workstation – instead of being lost in paper folders, tacit knowledge, or scattered files. This reduces paper, errors, and rework, and protects every company's most valuable resource: the knowledge of its people.
Since 2002, we have been helping companies in mechanical and plant engineering, the automotive industry, construction, and services to sustainably capture and pass on their specialist knowledge. Especially amid generational change and the shortage of skilled workers, a digital knowledge portal ensures that valuable experience is not lost when experienced employees leave, but is retained in a structured way. This shortens onboarding times, reduces downtime, and increases process reliability at every site.
We also factor sustainability into our approach to artificial intelligence: with instructor AI, we significantly simplify and speed up the creation and maintenance of knowledge content. At the same time, this lays the groundwork for making this secured expert knowledge usable for further AI applications in the future – a sustainably growing knowledge asset for the company.
